Esquimalt Village Cohousing will be located at 1140–1148 Esquimalt Road, in the heart of Esquimalt, BC. This central location supports a walkable, well-connected neighbourhood with easy access to everyday services, transit, and the greater Victoria region.

We have officially closed on our future home site—one of the most important milestones in forming a cohousing community. This achievement marks a meaningful step forward as Esquimalt Village Cohousing moves from vision to reality.

Zoning and planning for Esquimalt Village Cohousing are well underway. We have submitted a rezoning application for a Comprehensive Development Zone that will allow us to build a multi-family community designed specifically for cohousing at our Esquimalt Road site.

The proposed plans emphasize generous indoor and outdoor common spaces that support shared meals, gatherings, and everyday connection—core to how Esquimalt Village Cohousing will live and grow together.
