Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a community where neighbours look out for one another, share resources and make decisions together?
Maybe you’re curious about what cohousing costs, how shared spaces work, or whether living in a community could be a better fit for you. Or perhaps you’re simply interested in learning more about a different way to live.
Join us in Edmonton on November 7th, 2 - 3:30 pm for a friendly, informal conversation with members of Esquimalt Village Cohousing from Greater Victoria, B.C. We will be at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (Upper Hall), sharing what we’ve learned as we are in the development stage of a cohousing community on Vancouver Island — and answering your questions about how it all works.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
Explore the possibilities. Discover how cohousing can bring people together, foster a sense of belonging and help address some of the challenges of housing and modern life.
Meet the people behind the project. Hear from our founding members about what inspired them to choose cohousing.
Get a behind-the-scenes look. Learn about the property we’ve purchased and our progress through development and design.
Ask the practical questions. Open and honest talkabout costs, timelines, shared spaces and how decisions get made.
Discover your next steps. Find out how to become an Associate Member of Esquimalt Village Cohousing and explore whether joining our community might be right for you.
The session is free, but registration is required and space is limited.
Whether you’re exploring cohousing for yourself, looking for inspiration for community-building in Edmonton, or simply curious about how it works, you’re welcome to join us.
Come with your questions, bring your curiosity, and leave with a clearer picture of what cohousing could make possible.
