Our community in Esquimalt is growing, and we would love to meet you. This summer, we're hosting a variety of free events where you can connect with members, ask questions, and learn more about our vision for the project. We're currently welcoming new members, and these events are a relaxed, no-pressure way to explore whether cohousing might be right for you.
June
Summer Picnic at Saxe Point Park
Friday, June 26 | 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Join us for casual summer picnic at Saxe Point Park! Enjoy the ocean views, meet current members, and chat about cohousing in a beautiful setting just minutes from the future site of our community. Bring a chair or picnic blanket and whatever snacks you'd like to enjoy.
July
Esquimalt Farmers’ Market
Thursday, July 2 | 4:30–7:30 p.m.
We're excited to be at the Esquimalt Farmers Market in Memorial Park. Farmers' markets are important community gathering places, and we love being part of an event that celebrates local food, local makers, and local connections. Stop by our table to learn more about our cohousing project and ask any questions you may have about membership.

Join us in the Archie Browning Lounge at the Esquimalt Sportsplex for a free information session. You'll have the opportunity to meet members, learn about our project, and take a closer look at our plans for the community. Registration is free!

Gorge Farmers' Market
Monday, August 3 | 4:30–7:30 p.m.
Happy BC Day! Look for our table at the Gorge Farmers’ Market in Gorge Pavilion Park. Managed by the Esquimalt Farmers’ Market, this lively event features local vendors, music, crafts, and community connection. Stop by and chat with members about what cohousing is really like.
Weekly
Can’t make it to one of our monthly events? Join us every Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at Serious Coffee. View our community design plans in the loft at 27-1153 Esquimalt Road—directly across from the future site of our new home—and ask questions in an informal setting. No registration required.
